- Sanding and re-staining

Do-It-Yourself Sauna Maintenance
In addition to the routine maintenance we provide, we also suggest that every sauna owner take small steps to clean and maintain their sauna.
- Ammonia and other harsh chemicals will cause discoloration. Instead, periodically use a towel soaked in water and a mild soap to clean seats.
- Sit on towels (sweat can cause discoloration too)
- After every use, vacuum or sweep the seats and the sauna floor
- If applicable, regularly remove ash and replace cracked rocks
